Powertage registration

For reasons of better readability, the language forms male, female and diverse (m/f/d) are not used simultaneously. All references to persons apply equally to all genders.

You herewith register for Powertage 2024.
Please complete a separate application form for each exhibitor or co-exhibitor.

Powertage – General Information

  • Any one company can only book one ‘Participation Package’ to be part of Powertage.
  • Stand construction is uniform, no special constructions are possible. Exhibitors are, however, able to design their interior fittings.
  • Catering: exhibitors are to offer every forum participant and visitor (admission from 10 am) lunch between 11:30 am and 1:15 pm.
  • Exhibitors are to use the Networking Zone for meetings and dining. Therefore, catering at individual stands is not permitted.
  • Exhibitors may purchase a limited number of vouchers/Guest Tickets for admission to Powertage (please see the section on Vouchers/Guest Tickets)
  • Exhibitors are required to remain until the end of the exhibition every evening, i.e. until 5 pm on each of the three days. Stands may not be disassembled any earlier.

Participation package

All prices are in Swiss francs, exclusive of Swiss VAT.

The stand packages are for a stand with at least one open side. We cannot guarantee more open sides.

The package includes:

  • exhibition space, side walls are set back by 0.5m each
  • stand construction, basic furniture (tables, chairs, carcass),
  • lighting,
  • carpet (gray charcoal),
  • front panel with company lettering black/white (text up to 30 characters), or with logo 4-color
  • cabin, 1 x 1 m with white curtain (can be cancelled free of charge and without refund if not used).
  • unmetered power supply,
  • stand cleaning,
  • use of the Networking Zone incl. catering for stand staff,
  • free exhibitor tickets (3/6/10/15 pieces, depending on the package booked) incl. entry to the Powertage Forum,
  • paid-for vouchers for one-day guest tickets (4/8/16/24 pieces, depending on the package booked),
  • liability insurance for personal injury, property damage, and pure financial losses with a sum insured of up to CHF 5 million,
  • property insurance for fire and natural hazards up to a value of CHF 10'000.–

A co-exhibitor fee of CHF 1'490.- plus Swiss VAT, which is currently 7.7%, will be charged for each co-exhibitor registered (including the mandatory basic package of Powertage Event platform).

Speakers Corner

Present your innovation in the fully equipped Speakers Corner in the middle of the lively xplor Startup Village. Present your innovation to a broad professional audience and in dialog with leading experts from the Swiss electricity industry.

We order the following package(s)

Innovation Pitch: Within the framework of a professional moderation, companies, startups, scaleups or research teams present their innovations one after the other.  The presentation duration is max. 5 min. per pitch session. This will be followed by a round of talks with the experts.

Products & Solutions: Product presentations and solutions are presented in the form of short talks of 10 min. and professionally moderated. Followed by Q&A with participants on site.

Advertising options

We would like to order the following advertising options


Insurance

Liability insurance for personal injury, property damage, and pure financial loss with a sum insured of CHF 5 million as well as property insurance for fire and natural hazards up to CHF 10,000 are included in the Powertage participation package. If you require additional insurance cover, this must be purchased separately.

By this registration, you confirm that you will take out the following insurance policies with sufficient sums insured and for the duration of the contract:

  • Liability insurance for personal injury and property damage with a sum insured of > CHF 5 million, if the amount covered by the participation package is too low;
  • Property insurance for fire and natural hazards of > CHF 10'000, if the amount covered by the participation package is too low;
  • Transport insurance for all risks (loss and damage including coverage for property damage and losses resulting from damage by third parties, breakages, rust and oxidation, waterlogging, leakages, theft or loss, robbery and damage as a result of all accidents involving means of transport)
  • Exhibition insurance (coverage as for transport insurance but excluding damage that occurs during transportation)

You may submit an application for the above insurance policies to Basler Versicherung AG.
MCH will request submission of the relevant insurance certificates approximately two weeks prior the start of set-up.  Should you at this time be unable to provide MCH with any or only individual proofs of insurance and have not submitted a waiver to MCH, MCH will take out the required insurance policies in its own name but at your expense. Please note that this may result in a shortfall in cover. You shall accept and bear any risk in the event of a shortfall in cover. You will be charged the insurance premium and any taxes levied as part of your final invoice.
You may, however, also submit a written waiver to us up to two weeks prior to the start of set-up, in which you declare that you wish to waive the purchase of insurance by MCH.


Additional services

A) In particular, the following additional services must be obtained from the official partners of MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MCH") for a fee if you require them:

  • Technical connections (e.g. electricity, water etc.)
  • Event technology
  • Materials handling vehicles
  • Management of empties

You can find details of the individual services of each official partner, which you can order from them as required, in the various service shops (m-manager, Smartlog), along with all prices and all other required information.

The services will be provided directly by MCH’s official partners. Orders can be submitted from spring 2024.

The official partner will contact you receiving your order.

We will bill any services you order from our official partners in the name and on behalf of those official partners in our final invoice and collect the amount due accordingly.

B) Where required, you will need to book the following payable services with MCH directly:

  • Extended Community Plattform presence,
  • Suspensions (Rigging)
  • Transport and handling of goods (only on the exhibition grounds and with a total weight of > 3.5t)

All prices are in Swiss francs and exclusive of Swiss value added tax.

The services may be provided by MCH itself or by official partners it has enlisted.

Deposit
Together with the invoice on account, we charge a fixed deposit of CHF 500 for technical connections and other services (parking, media entry, etc.) . This deposit is deducted from the final invoice.

Data usage statement

The personal data recorded in this form will be saved and used to process your registration and as part of the performance of the Exhibitor Agreement. The processing may be carried out by MCH itself or by contract processors it has enlisted.
